Message	I recently sold my PE Exhuast (40-50# incl box & packing). I had them pick up the package @ my house and Shipped via UPS 3day Select. The box's dimensions were: 12" x 20" x 64" Shipping= $107.10 Add'l handling= $5.00 Insured val of $700= $2.10 Misc= $3.55 (Shipped Ground) Shipping would have been $~54 instead of $107. You can call their Service # 1800-742-5877 for an exact quote. You'll need the boxes dimensions and weight (shouldn't be a problem... over sized boxes are assessed a min weight of 70#). From UPS' site: "Domestic shipments in the UPS system may be assessed an Additional Handling Charge of $5 per package. This charge applies to the following: -Any article that is encased in an outside shipping container made of metal or wood. -Any cylindrical item, such as a barrel, drum, pail, or tire, that is not fully encased in a corrugated cardboard shipping container. -Any package with the longest side exceeding 60 inches or its second-longest side exceeding 30 inches. Additionally, UPS reserves the right to assess the Additional Handling Charge for any package that, in UPS's sole discretion, requires special handling. This charge may be applied to all packages without regard to the service level selected." Later, Fred Who needs crack? I own a Z.
